THE NAME

The ancient Greeks had two words for time: Chronos and Kairos.

While the former refers to chronological time, the latter signifies a critical or opportune time for action!

An updated definition of kairos concludes that, along with taking advantage of the timeliness and appropriateness of a situation, the term also implies “being knowledgeable of and involved in the environment where the situation is taking place in order to benefit fully from seizing the opportune moment”. This has been the inspiration behind our name.

This is the right, critical and opportune moment to chart a course in the right direction, powered by favourable and steady winds and, guided by an experienced team of mariners.
